Earth Gatherer

Bit by teeny-bit I'm working the Earth Gatherer.  With all the changes of color, this isn't a project that will be finished quickly and nor should it be.

This is such an enjoyable stitching project that I don't WANT to rush through it.

You have to love SB color choices.  They are so relaxing.

I'm welcoming spring with a few radishes and a bit more border.

Blog Administrator?

I received an email from Tracy, the former administrator for this blog.  Please read and respond if you know who the new administrator is.  Thanks.

<

I don't know if you remember me but I am the original administrator of the Shepherd's Bush blog.

I noticed that it doesn't appear to be managed by anyone and I do not remember who I transferred administrative duties to.  I am emailing you to see if you would check your settings for that blog and look in the permissions tab to see if it was you that I transferred it to.

If not, would you be so kind as to leave a post on the blog to see if you can find out who it is and ask that all members check in their settings to see if it is them, I know it was someone who e-mailed me and offered to help.

I am just interested so that the blog can be managed properly and am trying to help with that.

Thanks,
Tracy >>

Earth Gatherer

It has been such a long time since I've done a big project.  I forgot how much I enjoy Shepherd's Bush .... love these colors so much.

I changed the fabric from the linen in the kit to Jobelan.  My poor old eyes really appreciate the change.

Stocking for Lisa

I stitched this stocking during the year fro my friend Lisa. While Ihave stitched HEAPS of these, this is the first one I have made up. I am totally thrilled with the outcome of it.

Lisa loves red and black, so I searched for some Christmassy fabric that I thought would do the trick....

Joyful Night

Here's a little ornament I made as part of an exchange. It's Joyful Night from the 1998 Just Cross Stitch ornament issue. It was also reprinted in their 10th Anniversary Collection book as well.

Click for larger view

It's stitched on 32-count Lambswool linen. I used all of the recommended DMC colors with the exception of the star. The color originally called for didn't show up very well on the linen, so I substituted a darker yellow instead.

Boo Sheep . . .

Baa, Baa, and Baa ~

I finished this Spooky Sheep last night.
I started it about 4 in the afternoon.

It is a Sheperd's Bush kit which included ~
The fabric which I changed.
Silk threads and the
darling little hat which is a button.
The three pumpkins
are stacked up
on each other.
It was very fast and quite fun.
I think next time I will get Thankful!

I plan to take out my signature and date
and move them at the bottom.

Thanks for peeking!
God Bless ~
Lenna
