Quaker Heart

Hello everybody!

I'm new here and just want to thank for the invitation.

I'm a hungarian girl who loves cross stitching as a passion. I have stitched only 2 pieces of SB now but I'm sure I'll stitching more because I fell in love with them!

Here is my first piece Quaker Heart: (next post I'll show the 2nd)

35ct cream Edinburgh linen
Victoria Clayton silk, Belle soie, Silk Mori (my choise)

My Heart Runneth Over

I finished it! Not very surprising since it was a quick one. The mat is a nice finish but the price, whoa, not going to be doing that too often. I decided not to have it framed since the mat is good enough and I put it into my curio cabinet instead.

Quaker Heart

Here is where I am at already on this piece. It's nice to have a quick finish every now and then. The directions (and the silk supply included) calls for stitching with one thread so that is what I am doing.

Soft and Delicate Heart

I started A Quaker Heart today. The fabric and silks are so soft and delicate. This is a very quick stitch and I should be done with it within a matter of days. I have the Jill Rensel mat to go with it and have found a spot in my hallway where it will look good with another framed SB and another heart piece. I just have to decide if I want to mess with mounting it myself and buying a frame or springing for the little extra to have the framer do it.
